This paper applies a game-theoretic approach to a single-server preemptive queueing system. Players submit requests to the system during a time interval [0,T]. As soon as a new request arrives, the server immediately begins servicing it. However, when the next request arrives, the current request leaves the system, even if it has not yet completed servicing. Each player's strategy is to choose the moment to submit their request to the system, maximizing their payoff, which is their expected utility. This paper assumes that the utility value claimed by each player changes over time, which, along with the players' behavior, also influences the payoff value at each point in time.
Several scenarios of a two-player model are considered for given different utility functions, for which Nash equilibria are investigated.
