On the basis of modern concepts from the standpoint of the kinetic theory of rocks strength shown that the change of kinetic parameters of these rocks are due to development and the accumulation of microcracks in the rock and the influence of scale effect of grain size. This fact explains the differences in physical properties for different rocks. As a result, it is believed that longevity of rocks of magmatic origin has a common nature for the different conditions of exposure to it and based on the development of microcracks in minerals composing the rock. In this case thermo kinetic strength theory can be used to simulate the processes occurring at different impacts on the massif, or a sample of finite size, taking into account the real changes its status through registration micro damage in it.
