The article concerns original data on pottery from medieval hillforts such as Hameenlahti-Linnavuori, Soskua-Linnamaki, Tervu-Linnasaari and Paaso. Ceramic material demonstrates typological similarity with dated collections from medieval towns of Russian Northwest. The research provides typology, periodization and chronology of wheel-thrown pottery.
